The story of Little Sheep was inspired by Holy Spirit after reading the 'The parable of the Lost Sheep' in the book of Matthew chapter 18:12-14. Little Sheep represents us in several distinct ways. As believers, when trials and tribulations arise, we tend to knowingly, or unknowingly, stray from the Word (Our Shepherd.) But when we take the time to understand the depth, and width, of Father's love for His children, and how His plans aren't to lead us in harm's way (Jeremiah 29:11), we'll then learn to stay close and follow His guidance every step of the way.
Picture this: A Heavenly King caring profoundly enough to leave His Heavenly Kingdom to seek out the lost here on earth. That's truly an act of humility, and true love.. the kind of love that I'll always be grateful for. He considers us worthy of His love, deserving of His salvation through His Son, and precious enough to find. We have such a wonderful Savior in Jesus Christ, our Good Shepherd.
